The Conklin Crescent Filler was the first commercially successful self-filling fountain pen to be introduced and launched a new era in fountain pen manufacturing.

By incorporating a crescent shaped push filling mechanism the Conklin self-filling fountain pen became the best selling fountain pen of its time. The Crescent Filler became so successful that the legendary American author MARK TWAIN used and promoted the pen. He said of it " I prefer it to ten other fountain Pens, because it is a profanity saver; it cannot roll off the desk."

The 100th anniversary Conklin Crescent Filler limited edition is made from black celluloid. A special hand crafted sterling silver overlay containing a unique crescent shaped pattern has been placed over each pen creating a truly stunning writing instrument reminiscent of an earlier era.
