Mark Twain's Conklin Pen Writes Again

NEW YORK, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Conklin Pen Co., is proud to announce the release of it's Mark Twain Collection, an exact replica of the Conklin crescent self-filling fountain pen used and promoted by the legendary author.

In a series of advertisements beginning in 1903, Mark Twain praised the famous Conklin Crescent Filler as his pen of choice. He commented of this unique pen "I prefer it to ten other fountain pens because it is a profanity saver, for it can not roll off the desk.

"Mark Twain was a literary treasure whose pen left a lasting impression on American culture. It was only fitting that we produce a replica of Mr. Twain's favored writing instrument " says Robert Rosenberg, President of the Conklin Pen Co.

The Mark Twain Collection is available in both black chased or sapphire blue and features a replica of Mark Twain's famous signature.

The Conklin Pen Co., was originally founded in 1898 in Toledo, Ohio and became one of America's most famous brands of fine writing instruments. Revived in 2000, the Conklin brand continues it's tradition for innovation and excellence by offering unique writing instruments reminiscent of the golden era of fountain pens.
